I am so happy this week is FINALLY
over!

Don’t get me wrong.

It’s been an okay week.

But, that’s only because I made it okay.

For one thing, there is one of you out
there that is not getting my e-mails.

We were in the middle of corresponding
when hotmail, in its wisdom, (which they
are still afraid to answer me.) decided that
they needed to protect their client from
corresponding with me.

I don’t know if he’ll ever see this e-mail.

Then, on top of that, my web server had
an okay week, too.

In trying to serve everybody better, they
moved me to a new server, but a few
glitches prevented me from reaching
most of you for an entire week.

As you can see, the problem is solved,
now.

But, I can’t take that chance again!

So, I started taking action.

First, I invested in Direct 2 Client,
which I think will be the best option
once I get it figured out. (I’m working
with their support team to find out why
it’s not working, yet, but when it is,
and I know how to teach you how to
work it, I’ll make it available to all of
you!)

But, not satisfied with one answer,
I also got a hold of an auto-responder that
will work from a different server, and
I will probably move all my lists to that
auto-responder in about a month.

Which means I need all of you to sign

Let’s get to the “Science” of getting
wealthy.

It doesn’t matter if you are a doctor,
a preacher, or a teacher.

If you put the idea of more for everybody
out to all around you, people will want to
be around you, and you will get rich. You
must hang on to the mental picture you have
created in your mind, and you will have
people coming to you to do business with
you.

Especially doctors can use the information
taught here. If they hang on to the mental
picture with faith, reason, and belief, that
they can cure someone, regardless of the
method he or she uses, the doctor will
be able to cure someone of some disease.

If a person is a preacher, then the whole
world is screaming out for a preacher that
can teach the idea of more. If a preacher
can teach the science of getting well, the
science of being great, and combines it
with the teachings here, that preacher
will never want for a congregation. And
the congregation will give that preacher
lots of money in the process.

And those preachers have not only got
to tell us, but they also have to show us
by how they live, exactly how to do this.

The same is true for a teacher who teaches
children. If he or she teaches children how
to advance forward to the life of plenty, that
teacher will never be without a job.

And, what is true for teachers, preachers,
and doctors, is just as true for layers, dentists,
real estate brokers, and insurance salesmen, and
everybody out there, regardless of their
profession.

When the mind and the actions are working
together in the Certain Way, this way will
work every single time. If you do this Certain
Way down to the smallest detail, you cannot
help but get rich. The natural law of how to
get rich is just as true as the law of gravity that
keeps your feet held firm onto the earth.

Don’t start thinking you cannot get rich just
because there are no open doors for advancement,
or because there’s very little money being made
doing what you are doing, or because the cost
of living is outrageious.

Just make that clear mental picture and hold
it firm in your mind with faith and reason.

Do everything you can do in every single
day, and do every single thing right the
first time, and put “success” power
and a reason for getting rich into every
single thing that you do.

But don’t go doing it to be the boss’
pet, in the hope that your boss, or
your boss’ boss will see all the good
that you are doing, and you will
be promoted into a better job.

That probably won’t happen.

The worker who is “good” at his
job, and just doing the job the
best it can be done, and if the
worker is happy to do just that
is truly worth his weight in gold,
and it ain’t in the boss’ best
interest to promote that worker,
because the worker is worth
more right where he or she
is at.

To get ahead, you have to be
bigger than where you are at.

That work only not has to be
bigger than where they are, but
they also have to know where they
want to be.

Don’t be bigger than what the job
requires just to please the boss. Do
it so that you will grow. Hang on ‘
to the belief and reason of creating
more during, before, and after
work hours. Hang on to it, so
that, regardless of whether it is
your boss, your fellow co-workers
or the friends that are around you,
feel the power of reason , and the
feeling that “more” is coming out
of you.

Once you do that, if the doors don’t
open at where you are, they will open
elsewhere.

(Quick aside here. At my day job,
I believe that the doors around me
have closed. Out of the blue,
a company out of a city 350 miles
away is trying to get my services
for my day job. Go ahead! I dare
you! Tell me this method doesn’t
work.)

If you are moving in the way that
the natural laws have told you to
go, doors will always open up.

God cannot help but help you,
if you are donig things in the
Certain Way. He helps you
to help hsi ways.

When you learn this Way,
there is nothing in your life
or your job that can hold you
down. If you can’t rich working
in a steel mill, then you will
get rich working on a 10 acre
farm that you suddenly own.

(This was written in 1910, give me
a break, okay. You’re smart enough
to make the analogy. If you can’t get
rich working where you are at, then
maybe you will own a piece of “virtual”
real esttate, where you can get. That’s
kind of like a virtual farm. [And believe
me, there are days when you might
work as hard mentally as you do physically
on a farm.] )

And, if people start breaking the chain of
where they are working, they will soon
have to open up doors to more opportunity,
if a few thousand of its workers start using
this method, or the business will have to
close its doors forever. Nobody HAS
to work for that company. And, the company
can only keep people down as long as people
stay stupid to the Certain Way, or are too
mentally lazy to start doing things THIS
WAY!

If you will do things in the Certain Way,
then these open doors will race to you, because
God will be shoving the doors your way.

Don’t wait for an open door to be exactly
what you think it is going to be. It might
be more than what you thought. If that
is the case, then take it.

There is no such thing as no open doors for
those who are living a life of growth.

It’s born inside the way the cosmos were
made, that everything is there for you, and
that everything works together for your good.

(Hmmm, do I hear a reflection of Romans 8:28
there. Yeah, go ahead, look it up. I dare you!
{By the way, I think that one of the key missing
ingredients in the way the Universe works to make
you successful is that people don’t love the Lord
enough. When Adam and Eve were first here,
as long as they did not know sin, they had everything
they ever could want. Need I say more?)

If workers everywhere, read, re-read, and read
it again the writings of these lessons, and put them
into action, they cannot help but get rich.

On to the lesson:

Regardless if you change your job or
not, you have to start focusing on the
business you are in now.

You can get where you want by focusing
on what your job is now, and using it
to good purposes. The way you do that
is by doing things in your current job
in a Certain Way.

And whether you deal with people face
to face, or in writing, the main point you
drive home is the idea of “more for
everybody.”

The idea of more is what everybody wants
because God is pushing that idea out from
within them.

The desire for more is inside every living
thing. Anything humans do has to do with
the idea of more. More food, clothes,
fancy items, knowledge, fun, and better
houses is what everybody wants.

If there is life within anything, it needs to
move forward. If it doesn’t, everything
dies all at once.

Common sense tells you this, and even
Jesus taught this idea when he told the
parable of the talents (Brother Paul here:
talents was a form of money, but this
was most likely the basis for the way
we use the word talent today.) Jesus
taught that the folks who have more
get to keep more, and the folks that
do not create more, lose what little
they have.

Wanting more is not evil or disgusting.

It’s natural to simply want more, and
it becomes a goal.

People, whether male or female, or
always going to want to be with somebody
who can create more in their individual
lives.

In doing things in this Certain Way, you
will get more, and you will be able to
give more to those you work with,
talk with, or do anything with.

You are a center of creation, and from
you, more goes out to everybody.

Make sure you know this fact, and then
pass this knowledge on to every man, woman,
and child that you come in contact with. It does
not matter how trivial the matter, even if you
are selling a stick of candy to a child, push
the idea of more into your customer’s mind,
and then make sure that the customer gets
more in use value than you get in cash value.

Pass on this idea of everything growing so
that everybody around you knows that you
are a person of growth. You ought to
push this idea even out to your friends,
even if you are not doing business with
them, and even to just regular people that
you meet that you are not doing business
with.

You get this idea of mroe firmly grounded
within you, so it can’t be broke lose from
you. You are on the path of MORE, and
you need to get excited, filled up with it,
and fill in everything you do with it.

Show everybody that you have a character
of growth and that you are giving growth to
everyone around you.

(Brother Paul here telling you to pay real
close attention to this next statement. The
easiest way to learn is from other’s mistake,
and this was a mistake I made early on.)

Don’t go bragging about how successful you
are. Braggarts are unsure and scared.

Feel you belief and show it in every action,
right down to the tone of your voice, so that
everybody who is around you knows without
you saying a word.

People will want to hang around you once they
sense this coming from you. They’ll think it will
rub off on them from just hanging around you.

Make sure you give them more in use value
than you take in cash value.

Take pride in doing things that way, and let
everybody know that is the way you do business.

You will never want for customers, when you do
this.

Your business will grow real fast with people
that you have never heard of. You’ll get
more and more out of it, and then you
will be able to move on to a bigger and
better job.

But, don’t let go of your mental picture
with faith and reason while you are doing
this.

Let me warn you though: don’t get
tempted, because it is evil and
dangerous, to look to get power
over others.

Most people think that is the greatest
thing in the world: to have power over
others. But, that is because they have
not grown up and become complete in
their maturity.

That’s the biggest curse this world has
ever known. Kings have bloodied the
land, trying to extend their rule over
others, and they did not do it so that
everyone could have more life. They
did it to get more power period.

Kings of business do the same thing.
They don’t want more for everybody.
They are in business to compete.

Jesus saw this in Matthew 23, when
he tried to destroy it. He identifiies
the evil desire of the Pharisees to
rule over others, and have them do
their work. Jesus compares this
against the Good Life that is
offered.

Don’t look to be the boss or master
so that you can be higher up than
others, and show off your flashy
stuff just to impress others.

The mind that does that is a competing
mind. When you do that, fate will beat
you back, and you will fall into a trap,
and lose the very thing you want to
control.

There’s nothing that has been said
better about the creating mind than
the words of Golden Rule Jones:

What I want for me, I want for everybody.

his version of the word, “brilliant.” (Hope you

Anyhow, let’s get to the lesson for today.

First a quick observation:

A lot of people that are into “manifestation”
talk about just “thinking” about bringing what
you want into your life.

That’s part of it.

But, there is no way that we know of to
sit in your house doing absolutely nothing
but thinking and become a person of
means.

Go ahead and try right now.

I want you to sit in front of your computer
and think real hard for fifteen seconds the
following thought:

“Within the next 24 hours, I am a trillionaire!”

You and I both know the outcome.

It won’t happen. No matter how hard you think.

You have to be involved in something to make
these desires occur.

That’s what this chapter is about. The Right
Business.

As Wattles states: To be a success in any
business, you need a special set of well-honed
skills.

In short, without the right knowledge in a certain
business, you will not get rich!

These skills are just tools. But, tools are not
enough. There are people everywhere with
skills who are still broke.

(A quick aside here: we once read of a golfer
who is better than Tiger Woods, but he breaks
up when he’s on a PGA tour. As you might
well guess, he’s broke.)

Wattles illustrates that one person with great
skills can built a nice piece of furniture using
carpenters’ tools, but another person might
try to copy the exact piece of furniture, and he
won’t be able to do it right.

The skills that you need to complete the deal
are the skills inside your head.

It’s easier if you get into a business that you
already know.

For the most part, you will do best in a business
that uses your best skills.

But, just because you have skills that lean in one
direction or the other does not mean that you
cannot learn the skills needed to get into ANY
business.

You don’t have to limit yourself just because
you seemed to be “born with” a certain skill.

You can learn any skill.

So, while you might get rich quicker doing
what you are best suited for, you might
want to consider this.

You will still get rich, and you will be a whole
lot happier, if you are doing a business that
you ENJOY the most.

You’re ALIVE when you do what you want
to do the most.

The fact that you want to do it is proof enough
that you have the power inside of you to do
it.

If there’s no power, there’s no want to do
something.

But, if there’s a “wanting” to do it, then
there is already power to do it. And you
can learn how to do it.

(Hint: Brother Paul here. I’ve never
taken one formal course in how to
script, webmaster, blog, or anything.
I taught myself every single aspect
related to this task. And most of the
tools, skills, and material I needed
came to me mostly devoid of charges.
Theron Dumont once stated that you
need not fear that which you need will
not come to you. If you are in need of
learning of something, it will almost
literally fall into your lap. And, I have
found that by applying the principles
of the “Certain Way,” that has mostly
been true.)

If everything else is equal, then it
is best to pick the path of what you
know best.

(Another quick note here: We teach
there are two ways to become successful:

1) Do what you know best.

2) Do what you like best.

Just because you know something well
does not necessarily mean you like it best.
Wattles is explaining the difference between
these two.)

But, if you have a strong “wanting” to do
something else, then you should follow
that path, and learn how to do it.

Do what makes you happiest. It’s your
God-given right to learn the skills to
achieve that.

You shouldn’t have to do what you
don’t like doing (Hint: what you’re
best at), unless it will lead you to
what you like doing.

You may have done things wrong
in the past that have put you in a job
you don’t like.

That’s okay. Because you can now
like that job because you know it is
a means to get you towards what you
like doing.

If you are not in a right job, don’t get
all upset and rush into a different job.

It’s better to grow into a different job
that is more right for you.

If the opportunity presents itself, and
after you have considered it hard, be
ready to take advantage of it quickly.

But, don’t just jump into it, because
an opportunity, which may be wrong
for you, presents itself.

When you are on a creating level,
instead of a competing level, there
is always opportunity.

Competing makes you think you have
to act rashly. Creativity, and keeping
the mental picture of your desire, shows
you there is plenty of opportunity.

If you spend time thinking about your
mental picture, you are in the right frame
of mind, because you are close to God’s
mind. Therefore, it is impossible for you
to make a mistake.

There’s a mind out there that knows
everything, and you can bond with it
by believing and reasoning, while you
move upward and onward in your life,
provided you have a deep thankfulness
in your soul.

Mistakes happen out of rash thinking,
being scared, or not knowing what you
are doing, or because you are not doing
things in the Certain Way, which is making
sure that EVERYBODY, is getting more
in life, and that nobody gets less than with
what they started.

As you do more and more things in the
Certain Way, more and more doors
will open for you; you need to stay steady
in your believing and reasoning, and you
have to keep in close touch with God’s
mind by sincerely and properly giving
thanks.

Do everything you can in a perfect way
every single day. Do things as quickly
as you can, but don’t RUSH while you
are doing them.

The second you start rushing yourself,
you stop creating.

When you find yourself rushing, STOP,
focus on your mental picture and start
giving thanks that you are getting it.

When you work on being THANKFUL,
you will never stop building your faith and
your reason for doing it.
